Who the f**k are The Bleachers?

Jack Antonoff's maximalist alter-ego — Jersey horns, E Street heart, arena-sized feeling. Start here.

About Bleachers

Breakthrough

Jack Antonoff launched Bleachers in 2014 as an outlet distinct from his work in fun. and Steel Train — a solo-fronted band built around big, saxophone-soaked hooks and diaristic lyrics. "I Wanna Get Better" became an instant alt-radio anthem.

Sound

Wall-of-sound production, gated-reverb drums, saxophone, and open-hearted confessional lyrics — equal parts New Jersey bar-band and 80s arena pop, filtered through modern studio maximalism.

Highlights

Four studio albums (Strange Desire, Gone Now, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night, and the self-titled Bleachers), a Bruce Springsteen duet, and a devoted, sing-every-word live fanbase.

Beyond Bleachers

Jack Antonoff is also one of pop's most in-demand producers and co-writers — multiple-time Grammy winner for Producer of the Year, known for his work with Taylor Swift, Lorde, St. Vincent, and Lana Del Rey.
